Course Schedule:
An internal system of study has been evolved to meet the changing demand of the media industry.

Training:
The course has been divided into two equal halves. The first half i.e.intial six months, the incumbent shall be harnessed with the theoretical and practical skills of the field of journalism. In the latter half they shall be sent for in-house training in a media house to achieve required level of competence to excel in the field.

Prospects:
The meritorious students shall stand a chance of being inducted in a reputed media organization after completion of the course. The placement shall be on the basis of pure merit. The decision shall,however, rest with the core management of the institute.

Pedagogy:
The purpose of the vocational training imparted during the course of study is to nurture a generation which is categorically directed towards their cherished career. The student shall enjoy the real adventure of the field working on assignments and interacting with the senior professionals and educationists. Seminars, workshops shall be conducted regularly to equip the students with the knowledge of current trends the journalism.

Affiliation:
The Mind Pool School of Journalism is not affiliated to any University. The Diploma course offered by the Institute is supported by Rajasthan Patrika.

Evaluation:
A progressive pattern of study has been adopted and there shall be gradual learning and evaluation following the semester system. The curriculum has been divided into three semesters . Each semester shall be of two months duration. The practical content is intrinsic to the curriculum. The examination will be held after every semester. The student shall also be evaluated on the basis of class performance and feedback received from the training supervisors.
